Hello! I'm Matthew

I build and operationally improve companies, projects and operations. I believe in the importance of making real things and then improving them until they're perfect whether it's a Lego space station with my 5 year old or the largest waste water treatment facility in MEA. I started out in offshore power systems, then consulted, advised and lead the world's best companies how to build ports, shipyards and water plants. My latest undertaking was building and listing one of the leading 3D printing companies in the energy and maritime sector.

PHILOSOPHY

EXPERTISE

BUILDING REAL THINGS MAKES A DIFFERENCE TO REAL PEOPLE'S LIVES

MANUFACTURING IS CRITCAL TO OUR FURTURE BUT NEEDS TO EVOLVE

INDUSTRIES NEED ECO-SYSTEMS TO THRIVE AND GROW

Building water plants, manufacturing facilities, ports and shipyards makes economies stronger, societies more equal and stable and provides great jobs and benefits for generations. I am proud to be able to contribute to these outcomes.

Manufacturing will continue to drive our future economies, but needs to evolve and grow leaner, use less resources, add more value and to do it all in a more sustainable, circular economy way. Through all of this, product quality and improving workforce safety is paramount.

Eco-systems of skilled leaders, people, makers, suppliers, labs, standards bodies, training providers, schools and regulators make sustainable self-generated industrial growth possible. But they take active coordination amongst all participants. I am proud to give back via business building, training, standards work and industrial bodies.
